Our 6 Month Capy Update

It’s been far too long, but hopefully better late than never. Since our last post, our small team here at Capy has been hard at work keeping up with the demands of our new business while finishing up residency and working full-time jobs, getting married, moving to Seattle, and going on our honeymoon. It’s been a whirlwind but we wanted to take some time to reflect and thank you all for your support!

We’ve been blown away by the reception and love for our Capy scrub caps so far and it’s encouraged us to keep it going. Had you told us earlier this year that we’d be sending out over 1,000 orders in our first 6 months we never would’ve believed you. Fun fact, the Content Capybara print has been our best seller so far. It was the first print we worked on but we nearly pulled it out of our launch collection because we weren’t sure you all were going to like it as much as we do. We’re glad we left it in :)

As for new scrub cap prints, we plan to keep launching prints we think you'll adore through our Capy Drops at least once a quarter. What we’ve decided to avoid is constantly adding dozens of new prints that fabric manufacturers pump out like many other scrub cap brands do, just for the sake of casting the widest net possible. We believe this lowers the bar for creating products we’re proud of and excited to bring to you. Going forward, each new print design will actually be illustrated by the Capy team! Easter egg: our next Capy Drop is coming early November and will include one of our favorite French pastries and another cute floral print. Make sure you're subscribed to Capy Crew updates and follow us on Instagram to catch future Capy Drops.

Thank you for willingness to trust us, as a new brand, with keeping you covered during those long shifts. We know that your scrub cap can bring a little joy to your daily routine and often times to those around you. We’re thankful for your support and excited that you’ve loved our work so far. Please feel free to reach out to us with feedback, ideas, and suggestions any time through our contact page.
